If you are traveling internationally to one of our classes or conferences, the information below will be useful. Be sure to visit the IBM Haifa visitor page as well.
Getting to Haifa
From Ben Gurion International Airport outside Tel Aviv, you can comfortably use the train to travel to Haifa. Go to the Israel Railways site and select "Schedules and Fares". Select "Ben Gurion Airport" as your departure point and "Hof HaCarmel" as your destination point (Hof HaCarmel is the southernmost station in Haifa).
The Ben Gurion train station is near the arrivals hall in the airport. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the train station or ask at the information desk. Buy a ticket to Haifa and go down the escalator to the train. Make sure you board on the correct track. Take a taxi from the Hof HaCarmel station in Haifa to your destination.
Note that trains do not run on Saturdays/holidays in Israel. If you arrive on Friday afternoon, Saturday, or a holiday, you will probably want to rent a car or take a taxi to Haifa. General visitor information and driving directions are also available on the IBM Haifa visitor page.
