Feedback Directed Program Restructuring (FDPR-Pro)

  FDPR-Pro z/OS

FDPR-Pro z/OS is a tool for post-link code optimization for the IBM z/OS operating system running on the zSeries platform. It is currently under development.

The development makes use of FDPR-Pro's high-level program representation to benefit from the aggressive optimizations already working on other platforms, such as AIX, Linux on Power, etc.

A prototype version of FDPR for s/390 is available, and is capable of optimizing Load Modules (LM) and Program Objects (PO). Currently, the tool is an experimental research-level prototype.
