XMLFS
XMLFS is a file system that specializes in storing XML documents so they can be found based upon their content.

XMLFS strives to provide a file system's ease-of-use, familiarity, and inter-operability for storing and retrieving XML documents. It also provides a mechanism for efficient browse/search and automatic organization of XML documents based upon their content.

This project is based on the combination of a file system and an Information Retrieval technology in which a virtual file system directory structure is provided as a means to achieve associative access to content.

We employ a semantic navigation paradigm in which client applications do not have to be altered.
