In addition to offering period database management (backup, recover, or freeze), the DataManager subsystem performs integrity and consistency checks whenever a table is modified. Database locking and atomic operations ensure that only one user can change related data at any time.
DataManager Features
The DataManager provides friendly access to EC0.2000 shared data tables. It is through the DataManager that the selected tables may be viewed, sorted, and modified.
The DataManager is used to manage period databases An existing period database may be selected from the Period List and various operations may be applied to it, including:
- Opens a selected database.
- Creates a new period database.
- Changes database status to Active or Freeze.
- Backs up a selected period.
