Dr. Dagan Gilat - Manager of the Business Transformation & Optimization group.
Dagan is responsible for the development of Arad (Active Real-time Automated Decision Making) and Adi (Active Dependency Integration) technologies, for the IBM e-business Management Services project (e-BMS) and for the Autonomic Computing activities within Active Technologies. Dagan has over 15 years experience in technology research and development. Previous to IBM, he worked as a consultant for private and public Israeli companies.
His main interests include simulation, modelling, and advanced internet technologies. Dagan studied at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he received his Ph.D in Information Systems, M.Sc in Operations Research, and B.A in Computer Science.
Since 1998, Dagan has lectured at the Technion, where he teaches Internet technologies. He is also a student mentor.
