Model Driven Engineering Technology

This group focuses on realizing the potential of model driven development. Our vision of a model-centric development environment will enable industry to manage the lifecycle of complex systems, while at the same time providing some degree of insulation against the technology churn that threatens the productivity of software producers. Models will take a central role in future development processes -- both of software and larger systems incorporating software and mechanical and electrical elements.

The group is involved in projects to supply tools and technology to simplify the modeling experience, provide added value from the models, and integrate models with existing development processes.
