At the base of the IBM smarter planet initiative, information systems are instrumented, interconnected, and intelligent. This requires the use of emerging programming paradigms such as event processing and rules management systems. The IBM Haifa Research Lab is seeking an innovative and skilled person for an ambitious applied research position in this area.
Requirements:
Candidates should be able to learn new topics and have a strong interest in being an active member of the research community and applying research results to practical settings. Prior knowledge and experience in either event processing or knowledge representation and reasoning in artificial intelligence is an advantage.
Education:
PhD. or M.Sc, in computer science or information systems engineering.
