Java Developers for Healthcare IT

Description:
This position involves participating in a team architecting and developing the next generation IT systems for healthcare and life science. The selected candidates will develop components of the solution, carrying out high-level design, coding, unit testing, and integration. The developers will also work with customers and customer deployments planned for 2010 and 2011.
Requirements:
Candidates must have very good Java programming skills with at least two years of experience in Java development. Candidates must also be familiar with proper software development methodology in Java on the Eclipse RSA/RAD platform. Familiarity and understanding of healthcare IT and healthcare protocols for data exchange (e.g., DICOM, HL7) and data management is an advantage.
Education:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in computer science or information systems; equivalent degree in medical informatics is an advantage.
